There may not be a cat in the picture, but the Iraqi team is nicknamed "The Lions", so maybe that counts as a cat, or two, or three... :)

I'm really happy the Iraqi team won the Asia Cup. It was such good news for all Iraqi people! :)

I'm also happy for you Raghda that you had a great time in Syria and got to see Najma and Hnk. :)

I’m so happy you had a nice time in Syria with your family. I’ve been reading your blog and also Najma’s, HNK’s and Sunshine’s for several years. I’m awed by all of you -- your overwhelming courage, strength and determination to pursue your dreams in spite of the mess we’ve made of your country. You must have incredible times together.

I think the whole world joins you in being happy and proud that the Iraqi soccer team won!! Finally, the people can experience some long-deserved joy! It must have been a wonderful day to be there for a change. Hopefully, this is just the beginning of people coming together and seeing how much they have in common, which is a truth you always remind us of. I'm also very glad that you enjoyed your trip and had such a nice time. Thank you!
