There are many, many things I like about this picture. For one thing, all seven of the cats are different from each other, yet they all seem to get along. None of them seems bothered. Also, they are surrounded by enjoyable things: plants, yarn, a blanket. What a happy picture! Thanks!

BJ summed it up perfectly. That's a wonderful picture, and it is even possible that all seven kitties are from the same litter--I've seen this happen before. If only we could all get along.

Oops, they are seven cats not six hehe, I'll correct that.
Thanks my friends for your comments, I hope you are not mad because the pictures are much less that usual but don't worry when school ends this will change.

We understand about school and know it can be demanding! No need to apologize for that. It is good that it is important to you at this point in your life. I have to take an exam myself today, have my last one on December 21st, and a paper due by Christmas. Then no classes for me until January 10th. I will also be going back to teaching 4 days a week then. I'm supposed to be graduating from law school in the Spring. Many people from the Middle East come to America to study. Maybe when you're older you can consider it. Maybe we can even all meet one day! :-)

These cats look like angels, but every cat I ever knew has a bit of devil in them also! I think the cutest is the one on the bottom of the pile. :)

Hello Raghda, I check out your blog often. I thought I'd tell you about a strange encounter I had with a black cat a couple of days ago. I was walking my dogs (a beagle and a doxie) when this little black cat came up and rubbed against the dogs and against my legs. My dogs usually react to cats, but they were totally accepting of this one. It was weird that everyone got along. It was like they had known each other forever. They became fast friends. Wish people could get along like the animals.

    Dearest Raghda,

The pic is great and the kitties look like they were all excited and happy to pose. :)

It's so true that it seems like people don't know how to convey emotions and affection anymore yet animals still do.

    Salam...

Dear Raghda, On my list of "favorites" I have a website whose url is http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=27 . It shows the current date and time in Baghdad. My plan is when it's midnight on New Year's Eve there I am going to have myself a toast: To PEACE FOR ALL in 2007!

Aww. I haven't stopped by for a while, and I love particularly the picture below this one. This one is very cute as well. I hope you and your family are well. A friend of mine just had a very cute little baby boy. When I saw her today with her baby and husband and little tiny dog, out for a walk, I wished so that that child will grow up in a peaceful world...and that all will enjoy that.

I just found your blog today. My oldest son will be heading to Iraq as a Marine at the end of September, so I am more intersted is what is happening there than ever.

I am sorry you were uprootted from your home. I can't imagine what that iis like. And I understand how you feel about leaving your kitties. We have three. I have had kitties for more than 30 eyars. I like them. Not the sam ekitties, obviously.

You are doing well in school and that is very important. And that's quite an accomplishment with the trials you face.

I pray for this whole buisness and now will pray specifially for you, since I know about you. I hope that the people of Iraq work together and get things back on track. And each person, including you, has the ability to do that.

I look forward to the day that things are good in Iraq, but not as much as you do.

    Sincerely
    Gail
