The mommy cat and her kittens is a heartwarming treat. As for getting up early, I have always disliked it, although I usually wake up early by my own choice. It's alarm clocks that I hate and obligations that force me up before I am ready. Benjamin Franklin, the American diplomat and scientist, said "Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise." Well, you can't prove it by me.I know you'll have a good time in school, once you get there! Love.

More pretty kitties! One of the reasons (though not the only one) I homeschooled my children was that they would have had to get up around 4:30 in order to hike to the point the bus might pick them up for school (a long way from where our cabin in the woods is). My whole family likes to stay up late at night. When I was in college though, I had to get up very early for my morning classes--I scheduled early morning classes so that I could go to my work in the afternoon and evening (at a library). Long days!
I hope your time at school is fun and useful to you, after having to rise so early.

I never liked getting up early either! However, I used to enjoy school for the most part. Good luck with your classes this term!
Those baby kitties are very cute! :) What a good mommy cat, too!

Thanks for the picture of the newborns! I was just thinking today about what cats look like right after their birth: the closed eyes, the folded ears...---and I think they come into the world with whiskers, if I remember correctly!
Not only do I have to wake up by 3:30 a.m. every day, but I haven't had a day off in over 15 months. My paper route is 7 days a week, then I teach about 4 days, have my own classes 3 days, and do my intern work in law 1 or 2 days a week...But in a few months I hope to graduate and find a "real" job. Everything is easier once you can get over thinking about everything else you would be doing if you weren't doing that particular thing (i.e. try not to think about school when you're on vacation, or about vacation when you're at school!). Time goes so quickly, though. However, it would be nice to have leisure time for something other than sleeping...:-)

I perfectly agree with BJOFORD3 try and enjoy every moment of life and as a famous saying says:
Learn as if you were going to live forever. Live as if you were going to die tomorrow.
-- Mahatma Gandhi
All species on earth rise with the sun, therefore I enjoy waking up early especially when you are keen on accomplishing things.

Something just occurred to me. Not only is the mother cat checking on her kittens, she's going to wake them up with a thorough bath and a good breakfast in a minute. No wonder you were thinking about wake-up time.

I'm the opposite. I love mornings, the earlier the better, but I've just started a new job that requires I work the afternoon shift (3:00pm to midnight). Yuck!
I miss my quiet time in the mornings to spend with my son and kitties. Take care and good luck with your classes.
Peace,
Fiona
