hear in baghdad

Before two years, when there was peace and security, the life was nice, i was waiting for the summer holiday to play and go out to the public garden with mom and dad and my family and have fun but now there is no peace and security ,so we rarely go out, now i just sit and work on the computer and work on my blog .

    Ahhhh,
That's too bad, Raghda. But the situation will improve
over time. It's going to take awhile for things
to change. My mother always used to tell me when I was impatient, that "Rome wasn't built in a day."

And when she would drop a spoon or other silverware
    she would say, "Companies coming."

Raghda, you will get your security. You will have the best damn security in the Middle East. Because the oil money, instead of being spent on palaces for Saddam, it will be spent on more and more policemen, who are there to protect you, not hurt you.

It just takes time for the police to be trained and to catch the criminals. Once it is over, you will be happy. Please be patient. Until then, you can have your own blog for the first time in your country's history. In the entire history of Iraq, you're the only 13 year old who has ever had a blog. Imagine that. A world record.

I have a thirteen year old daughter who loves cats too. I pray for the safety and well being of all Iraqis. I would like to think all Americans do but some say the war wasn't worth it. I love reading all the blogs from Iraq to get a real idea of whats going on there instead of relying on our news. I would love it if you emailed my daughter. Her email is kittylover@sport.rr.com you guys can talk about cats.

I think you have done a great job on your blog. The war is taking a toll in and around your home land, I am sure you must be really scared every day. Alot of us in the United States feel that this has gone on for way to long. We hope that the terrorist will be defeated soon and you and your people can live in peace. The United States is trying to make things where you and your people have a much better life.
I am told that the terrorist think what they do makes them thought of as great people by religous means, how can someone that kills anyone be thought of as good by any god? I truely wish you, your family and neighbors much luck in the future, and I hope this war in your country ends soon and that peace will soon rise. As a little suggestion, if you can take pictures still to post, put some pictures of the destruction in which this war has caused in your area. Alot of people have no idea what is really going on other than what we hear on television or radio.

This should never have happened! Iraq wasn't a threat to U.S. or anyone! A quagmire is total destruction! Saddam couldn't've been nearly as viscious as this truly great mess!

Now the Axis of Greed is making huge profit$!
